New firmware updates have recently been released by Sprint for three of its smartphones - the HTC Evo 4G, HTC Design 4G, and Samsung Epic 4G. The new software updates bring "Security Update" which is apparently the Carrier IQ removal. You can get the updates over-the-air (OTA). You can also manually check the download from "Settings" > "System update" and then check for the new firmware version from there. Details for each device follow after the jump.
