Qualcomm has launched a new Lock Screen application for Android called "Snapdragon Glance" in beta. According to Qualcomm, Snapdragon Glance is "an intelligent lock screen application, which makes it easy for you to quickly access the information you need." Before using it, you should know that the Snapdragon Glance app requires you to install Battery Guru first. What is BatteryGuru? For those who haven't yet heard of it, BatteryGuru is another Qualcomm app that improves battery life for Snapdragon-powered phones.
Once installed Snapdragon Glance launches each time you turn your screen on. From here you can use Glance or select the Home or Back buttons to access your regular home screen. The Lock Screen information app will launch each time users turn on their smartphones' screen. The app will show you key information, such as notifications, weather, contacts and important applications. The application requires Android 4.3 or later. BatteryGuru, on the other hand, works on Snapdragon powered Android phones running 4.0 or higher.
You can already download Snapdragon Glance for Android for free directly from Google Play Store.
