RoverPC P7 PDA Smartphone

RoverPC P7 PDA Smartphone. A new smartphone has been released by RoverPC, the P7 model. It's the successor of the earlier P6 model. RoverPC P7 runs the latest version of Windows Mobile (6.1) and gets all its power from Marvell's PCA270 416MHz CPU. The mobile phone has 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, Bluetooth 2.0, tri-band GSM/GPRS + EDGE radio (900/1800/1900 MHz), and a 2 megapixel camera.

RoverPC P7 PDA Smartphone has WiFi connectivity, but Unfortunately it lacks 3G support. The all-touchscreen device measures 112×61x13.8 mm and has a weight of 95 grams. No word on pricing yet. Stay tuned.

Pantech C820 on FCC, Pantech Duo 2? The original AT&T Pantech Duo 1 is the C810, so what is Pantech C820? Maybe Pantech Duo 2? We aren't sure, but FCC has some details about this handset. Pantech C820 has 3G frequencies for AT&T (WCDMA 850/1900).

StyleTap's Palm OS Emulator for iPhone, iPod Touch. We just heard, Palm Nova - Linux-based Palm 2.0 OS?, and while we're still waiting for it, you may want to use some of the older Palm OS apps on other, non-Palm OS powered devices. StyleTap just announced that it will be officially bringing its Palm OS emulator to the iPhone and iPod touch. Back in February StyleTap released a video demo of the StyleTap running Palm OS apps on a iPod Touch. The company says they have been overwhelmed by the level of interest and the video has been viewed over 800,000 times.

According to the company technically, StyleTap CrossPlatform is an excellent fit with the iPhone, as the powerful processor and large screen allows applications written for Palm OS devices to run at full speed and at full screen resolution.
