MGM + Vodafone Germany. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer has announced its first major agreement with Vodafone in Germany. MGM Channel, which is currently available to pay television subscribers all across German-speaking Europe, will now also be available to mobile subscribers through Vodafone.

The MGM Channel is available on the 3G Vodafone Live! network in Germany, offering movies from the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film library - including films from the Pink Panther and Rocky franchises, as well as The Thomas Crown Affair, Terminator, Man in the Iron Mask and Robocop, among many others.

During the trial, 300 customers will be able to see six dedicated channels. Participants of the trial will be using the Samsung P960 handsets and the trial is also supported by technology partners, Alcatel-Lucent and Gemalto.
