A new low-end phone by Motorola, called W165, is an entry-level handset coming with a dual-band GSM radio (900/1800 or 850/1900 MHz), 1.44-inch 128×128 pixels CSTN screen with 65K colors, 2.5mm headset jack, and a 780 mAh battery. As for the size, Motorola W165 measures 108×46x12.5 mm and has a weight of 77 grams. No word on price nor availability yet.

It's apparently just another basic phone for entry-level users. The mobile phone may be the successor to the W231 model coming with microSD card support, FM radio with RDS, an MP3 player, and other basic features.

The application is a small daemon that is launched on boot. It injects the payload at boot and also whenever there is a baseband reset. You can add the application using the sources outlined below. There are Cydia and Installer sources available, so use whichever you are comfortable using. yellowsn0w is completely removable through Cydia, the command line, and iTunes.

Android Market to be updated with Paid Apps by Q1 2009. An email passed around registered members of the Android Market detailed the future Android Market updates along with their deployment schedule which is due to start in the 1st quarter of 2009.

Google's Eric Chu confirms in the email that the paid applications rollout will take place in stages. First starting with the US and Europe in early 2009 followed by further expansion into Europe later in the year.
