A new unannounced Motorola phone called Calgary/Devour has been spotted in silver. The handset comes with Android, a 3 megapixel camera, optical trackpad, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G, and a 1420mAh battery.

Samsung M330 released by Sasktel

A new slider phone has been released by Sasktel in Canada, it's Samsung M330.

The mobile phone comes with a 2-inch display (128×160), VGA camera, Bluetooth, 2.5mm headset jack, speakerphone.

Samsung M330 is available for $25 on a 3-year contract, $75 for a 2-year, $120 for 1-year, and $170 for prepaid from Sasktel.

New Input Interface by Tokyo University can capture fingers movement

Professor Masatoshi Ishikawa and Dr. Takashi Komuro of the Tokyo University has developed a new input interface called 'vision-based Input Interface'. The device developed by Tokyo University team can translate in-air movements of fingers to computer command, which enables you to use portable devices without even a touch. To catch finger movement, the device adopted 154 frame per second high-speed camera. Usually two lenses are used to detect 3D movement but customized softwares enables camera to detect them with only one lens. (source)

Ovi Contacts by Nokia updated

Nokia’s Ovi Contacts for S60 3rd Edition FP2 and S60 5th Edition handsets has been updated. New bug fixes included in this version:
+ Send file was working only from chat view, not from the friend list before, but now it works
+ Issues with Cyrilic and Scandinavian letters were fixed
+ E-mail field in 'My profile' didn't accept "-" character is fixed
+ Corrupted pics in personal and friends profile are fixed

Evernote for iPhone 3.2.1 released

Evernote for iPhone version 3.2.1 has been released. The new version comes with some improvements and bug fixes. Here’s what’s new:
+ Locally cached notes and offline notebooks are now excluded from iTunes backup, so syncing your device with iTunes is much faster than before.
+ Fixed several issues when migrating from previous versions, including the sometimes incorrect display of offline notebook sizes for Premium users.
+ Further improvements in sync speed
+ Improved the ability to extend an existing Premium subscription from within the app
+ Removed the standard “Turn off Airplane Mode or switch to WiFi” message when app is launched in Airplane Mode, since all locally stored notes and offline notebooks are fully accessible even without a data connection.

'Survey On The Spot' iPhone app for Air Travelers to rate AirportSecurity Screening

On The Spot Systems has announced that their iPhone application, SURVEY ON THE SPOT, is now available to air travelers to rate airport security screening by completing a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) survey.

SURVEY ON THE SPOT uses the iPhone's GPS to identify the user's location and enables smartphone users to answer a TSA questionnaire quickly and easily immediately after passing through the security checkpoint. SURVEY ON THE SPOT provides air travelers with easy access to a questionnaire that has been used by the TSA to rate screening procedures and gauge consumer confidence in the security of air travel.
