Motorola Devour aka Calgary promo pack for Verizon spotted

Following on the recent Motorola Calgary / Devour spotted, Now the promotion pack of the Motorola Devour (aka the Calgary) for Verizon has been spotted. AndroidCentral has some photos of the Motorola Devour promo kit for Verizon stores.

From previous reports we know that the Devour will apparently come with a 3 megapixel camera, touchscreen, optical trackpad, GPS, WiFi, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a digital magnetometer.

Nokia Custom Dictionary for S60 3rd and 5th Edition

Nokia’s Beta Labs has released a new app called 'Nokia Custom Dictionary' which is designed to offer an easy way to manage the custom dictionary on your smartphone. The custom dictionary is used for storing your personal words that are used frequently while typing. These words are then used in predictive text input.

With the Nokia Custom Dictionary application, you can view all the words in your custom dictionary, add new words to it, edit and delete existing words. The app supports exporting the dictionary as xml file, and importing words from an xml file. You can also scan text files to import all the words, and transfer your dictionary to another phone.

New Firmware Update 11.0.045 for Nokia N97 Mini

A new firmware upgrade has been released for Nokia N97 Mini. The new release brings the firmware to version 11.0.045. The software contains many fixes and improvements such as more free RAM, improved image and video stability , better call reliability, smoother touchscreen scrolling, browser improvements.

A new report says that NTT DoCoMo plans to show off a prototype device running next-gen LTE technology at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this month.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 for T-Mobile Germany in April

T-Mobile Germany has announced that it will launch Sony Ericsson’s first Android smartphone the Xperia X10 in April 2010.

You may be already aware that the Xperia X10 by Sony Ericsson comes with Android OS, a 4-inch WVGA (480×854 pixels) capacitive touchscreen, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 CPU, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 8.1 megapixel auto-focus camera, and so on. No word on price.

TELUS Motorola MILESTONE coming soon

Motorola MILESTONE has been spotted on TELUS' website as coming soon, with a link to the pre-registration page on Motorola's website.

For those of you who are new to the Milestone by Motorola, it comes with a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen 480x854 pixel resolution, a 5MP camera with AF, dual LED flash, GPS, WiFi, Micro USB, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and more.

Alcatel OT-980 Android Slider Phone spotted

The good folks at FrAndroid have some hands-on pictures and video review of the Alcatel OT-980 with Android 1.6. The prototype design reminds us of the Palm Pre. The mobile phone comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, QVGA resistive touchscreen, 600MHz processor, 192MB RAM, 3G, WiFi, GPS, accelerometer, 2 megapixel camera, microSD card support, and 3.5mm headset jack.

The Alcatel OT-980 will be launched in several color versions via Orange France within the next 4-5 months. It would be shown at MWC in Barcelona. Video follows after the jump.
