Nokia dual SIM phones C1-00 and C2 launched

Nokia has launched its first cellphones with dual SIM capability, C1-00 and C2, in India. Nokia C1-01 comes with a 128 x 160 pixels TFT color screen, 3.5mm headset jack, “call divert” feature, FM radio, SMS, flashlight, and up to six weeks of stand-by time.

Users can switch between networks easily, just by holding down a key. Nokia C1-01 is available for 1,999 INR (about $42). Nokia C2 allows two SIM cards to be functional at the same time and features S40 UI, GPRS, pre-installed Nokia Life Tools, Stereo FM radio with FM recording, 3.5mm headset jack, VGA photo camera, and MicroSD card slot. Nokia C2 is available in India, with a price tag of 2,500 INR which is about $54.

7-inch Samsung GALAXY Tab is World’s First DivX Certified Tablet

Samsung and DivX have announced at the IFA trade show that the GALAXY Tab is the world's first DivX Certified tablet. The Android-powered GALAXY Tab will now power DivX HD video playback at home or on the go. Available to consumers first in Europe late September 2010 and soon after in the United States and Asia, the GALAXY Tab has a large 7-inch TFT display, which delivers an unrivaled screen quality for a better viewing experience. Weighing in at only .84 pounds (380g), it includes 16 GB or 32GB of internal storage and 32 GB MicroSD expansion. The GALAXY Tab features a TouchWIZ user interface, WiFi, GPS, rear and front facing cameras and also acts as a mobile phone.

iTunes 10 available for download

Apple has released iTunes 10 with Ping, a new music-oriented social network for following your favorite artists and friends to discover what music they’re talking about, listening to and downloading. iTunes Ping lets you post your thoughts and opinions, your favorite albums and songs, the music you’ve downloaded from iTunes, plus view concert listings and tell your friends which concerts you plan to attend. iTunes 10 also features HD TV show rentals* for just 99 cents an episode and AirPlay wireless music playback.

New Apple iPod touch - Retina Display, FaceTime, HD Video Recording and Game Center

Apple has announced its latest iPod touch, packed with incredible new features including Retina Display, A4 chip, FaceTime Video Calling, 3-axis gyro, iOS 4.1, HD Video Recording and Game Center. The Retina display has 960 x 640 pixels—four times as many pixels than before. The resulting 326 pixels per inch is so dense that the human eye is unable to distinguish individual pixels when iPod touch is held at a normal distance, making text, images and video look sharper, smoother and more realistic. With the new front-facing camera and mic, iPod touch users can make FaceTime video calls over Wi-Fi. Users can easily capture HD video wherever they are and share it via email, MobileMe and YouTube. With the iMovie app, users can combine movie clips, add dynamic transitions and themes and include photos and music right on their iPod touch.

Yahoo! Fantasy Football Launcher for BlackBerry released

Firmware Update 051.018 for Nokia E72
