Google has introduced the Android Market website (http://market.android.com/) that lets you browse and search for great apps right from your web browser. Previously, you could only access Android Market directly from your device. Now using the website, you can easily discover great new apps with a bigger, brighter interface. You can also send apps directly to your Android device with just a few clicks—no wires needed. You can also share apps with your friends through Twitter. And you can read and post app reviews directly to Android Market from the web or from your device.

The T-Mobile G-Slate 4G tablet comes with Android 3.0 (Honeycomb), brilliant 8.9-inch HD screen, dual rear-facing 5 megapixel cameras for 3D video capture, HD video capture, and photo capture, front facing camera for video chat, 32GB internal memory, Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support, 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor, and 4G and Wi-Fi capable.

Google has announced that by using Google Maps 5.1 for Android, you can now connect a location on a map to a real place by checking in there using Latitude. You can still use Latitude to automatically update and share your location, but check-ins let you add context to the location—like captions to a photo. Latitude is built right into Google Maps for Android so check-ins work across Latitude and Maps seamlessly. Just like when sharing your location with Latitude, checking in is 100% opt-in, and you can choose to share any check-in with your friends on Latitude, publicly on the web and your Google profile, or just yourself.

You can also share items with friends across your social network to let them know about products you love or great deals you've found.

Mac OS X drivers for Pantech 4G LTE USB modem have been released by Verizon. The official Mac OS driver for the Pantech UML290 LTE modem for Verizon can be downloaded from Verizon's website. The LG VL600 still only supports Windows, but we guess it will be available soon as well.

HTC Inspire 4G has been announced by AT&T to be available on Feb. 13. The first 4G mobile phone offered by AT&T, the HTC Inspire 4G is the first to run the Android 2.2 platform and AT&T Mobile Hotspot application. The HTC Inspire 4G will include a 1 GHz processor, Dolby Mobile and SRS WOW HD sound, and a premium, aluminum unibody design. The 4.3-inch super LCD display on the HTC Inspire 4G will be the largest in the AT&T portfolio, and the first to offer the next-generation HTC Sense experience. The phone is also the first HTC device in the U.S. that supports the manufacturer’s new Sense cloud services.
