PureSpeech Bluetooth audio enhancement technology. SRS Labs and CSR announced that they have entered into a joint engineering and marketing partnership through CSR’s extension Partner Program to create PureSpeech, a ground breaking new Bluetooth software solution that delivers significant improvements to the audio clarity of Bluetooth mono headsets.
PureSpeech combines SRS Labs’ VIP+ software, which improves audio quality at the near end (what you, as the caller, hears), with CSR’s Clear Voice Capture (CVC) noise reduction software, which improves audio quality at the far end (what the other person, the recipient, hears). The combined CSR and SRS product, called PureSpeech, will be available from Q1, 2009 as an option on CSR’s DSP-based BlueCore Multimedia Bluetooth silicon.
