HTC Touch Cruise aka lolite announced. HTC Touch Cruise a.k.a HTC lolite has finally been announced by HTC with inbuilt GPS. The Touch Cruise is the first mobile phone to offer HTC Footprints, an application experience that enables people to permanently chronicle their special moments by capturing a digital postcard on their phone.

Once captured, Footprints provides the ability to take notes and an audio clip of that favourite restaurant or special place while identifying its specific geographical location. In addition to identifying each postcard with its specific GPS co-ordinates, Footprints also auto-names each postcard with its general location or area.

Huawei Android phone to be announced at MWC. A new report indicates that Huawei will announce an Android handset at the Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona.

They'll be showing a "Smart mobile phone based on 'Android' platform" in a section of their booth marked "Mobile U-life." Huawei currently has one phone on the US market, the M328 with MetroPCS.

Samsung Rugby is certified to U.S. Military Standard MIL-STD-810F compliance which means it can take tons of dust, shock, vibration, rain, humidity, solar radiation, altitude and extreme temperatures from - 21C degrees to +63C degrees. The mobile phone comes with a 1.3MP camera, 8GB expandable memory with micro SD, 3G, email, IM, HTML browser and external speaker. It is available for $149.99 on a 3-year contract.

Kogan Agora Cloned? Yeah, Here's another clone-phone by Chinese handset cloner, a clone of the delayed Kogan Agora has been launched. The device manufactured by Shenzhen JoinCyber Telecom Equipment Co., Ltd popped up for sale on Alibaba.com as the G8000 phone running Android, costing $240/unit with minimum purchase of 100 devices.

Could this be the actual Kogan Agora being sold of in bulk after its cancellation? There are some distinct differences in design elements, and Mr. Kogan himself insists it isn’t one of the original Kogan Agora.

According to Kogan’s CEO - Ruslan Kogan,

“I am not aware of this manufacturer and I have doubts that it runs Android OS. It is certainly not what the Agora was going to be or in anyway related to it.”
