LG GW600 for AT&T on FCC
LG GW600 for AT&T has recently been spotted at the FCC. The mobile phone comes with Windows Mobile OS, a 3.1 megapixel camera, touchscreen, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, microSD memory card slot, accelerometer, 20-key SureType style keypad, standard audio jack. Neither LG nor AT&T have confirmed or announced this phone. Stay tuned.

Samsung Highlight launched by T-Mobile
A new touchscreen phone by Samsung, the Highlight has been launched by T-Mobile. The mobile phone features a 3 megapixel camera, 240x400 resistive touch display, quad-band EDGE and UMTS, aGPS, TouchWiz UI, and microSD memory card slot (up to 16 GB). Samsung Highlight is available on T-Mobile for $149.99 on contract after rebates.

SOLAR HYBRID SH-08A - solar-powered waterproof phone announced by NTT docomo in Japan
NTT docomo has announced its development of the SOLAR HYBRID (docomo STYLE series SH-08A), a solar-powered, waterproof mobile phone that will go on sale at all DOCOMO sales channels in Japan from September. The clamshell measures 109 x 50 x 17.3 mm (21 mm at the thickest point) and weighs 140 grams. It has a 3-inch screen with a 480x854 pixel resolution (16.7 million colors).
Dell smartphones confirmed again
At a recent analysts presentation, Dell confirms, again, that they’re working on smartphones. Ronald Garriques, president of Dell's consumer division, said the company would "work with the top three to four" telecommunications carriers "and see what their needs are". He continued to say that the company is working on a range of smartphones, and also has plans to enter the category of devices with screen sizes between 4 and 12 inches.
Sony Ericsson W518a and C905a for AT&T launched
AT&T and Sony Ericsson have launched two phones, Sony Ericsson W518a Walkman and C905a Cyber-shot. The W518a Walkman phone features a 3.2 megapixel camera, advanced shake control technology that lets users shuffle, skip and control volume with a flick of the wrist. In addition to Shake Control for music, Gesture Control technology lets users reject incoming calls or send the alarm to snooze with just a wave of the hand over the W518a's camera lens.
