Nokia has released Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition coming with a bundle that includes a car kit, car charger, and a lifetime walk and drive navigation license for only $405.

The Navigation Edition replaces the black plastic bevel around the upper outside of the standard Nokia 5800 XpressMusic with a silver plastic bevel. There's a Nokia Car Charger (DC-4), Car Holder Pack (CR-103), Rotating swivel adaptor (AD-69) and Easy Mount (HH-17).

The Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition will start shipping in Q3 2009 and is expected to cost €285 before taxes and subsidies.

Alltel Wireless has announced the availability of the BlackBerry Tour smartphone from Research In Motion (RIM) in Alltel retail stores and online at alltel.com.

The smartphone features built-in GPS and mapping software, a large 2.44” high-resolution display that’s perfect for viewing videos, photos, and web pages, and a 3.2 MP camera with image stabilization, flash and video recording, a highly tactile full-QWERTY keyboard, 3.5 mm stereo headset jack and support for the Bluetooth Stereo Audio Profile (A2DP/AVCRP), 256 MB of Flash memory, and support for BlackBerry App World.

BlackBerry Tour 9630 is available on Alltel for $199 after a $100 mail-in rebate. Customers must also select one of the Alltel Wireless Smart Choice packs that include national voice minutes, unlimited Internet browsing and e-mail, and “My Circle.” Smart Choice packs begin at $69.99.

The mobile phone comes with an accelerometer that can be used to set the phone in silent mode, SOS with siren feature, a 2.6-inch 262K LCD internal screen (240×320), 2 megapixel camera, video/music on demand, Subway Maps, Bluetooth, games, microSD card and a talk/standby time of up to 5/390 hours.

Size wise, it measures 116×62.8×13.0 mm, and has a weight of 140 grams with battery.

Gameloft has announced a multi-year licensing agreement with Interplay to develop, distribute and publish Earthworm Jim, a popular run and gun platform video game featuring an earthworm who dresses up in a Super Suit to fight evil. The game will make its way to mobile, WiiWare(TM), PlayStation Network, with an exclusive one month run on Xbox Live(R) Arcade. The mobile game will be available in the last quarter of 2009.
Initially released in 1994, Earthworm Jim's games garnered such a cult following that the character's popularity took him far beyond video games into an animated TV series, Toys and Comic books. Earthworm Jim centers around an ordinary earthworm who engages in normal worm activities- eating dirt, crawling and fleeing from hungry birds- that is until he comes across a high tech indestructible space suit. Jim takes refuge in the space suit while fleeing from hungry birds. The suit's powerful atomic particles cause him to grow and obtain newfound powers.
