Samsung has announced the Galaxy S II LTE and Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE. Both devices will come with updated dual core 1.5 GHz processor.

Samsung has released bada SDK 2.0 for developers. Bada 2.0 will bring several improvements to the bada platform, including better UI, text-to-speech, NFC support, mobile ads, and so on. The newly released Samsung bada 2.0 introduces many new and exciting features for developers and users. Samsung Comment (SCH-r380) messaging phone for Cricket

A new messaging phone named Samsung Comment (SCH-r380) has arrived on Cricket. The low-end candybar phone with full QWERTY keyboard offers threaded/chat-style text messages. Samsung Comment (SCH-r380) comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display, stereo Bluetooth, voice recognition, mobile web browser, MP3 music player, 3.5mm headset jack and a 1.3 megapixel camera. Users can personalize the Comment by using Cricket Storefront to download applications, games, ringtones and wallpapers.

HTC Evo 4G Firmware update 4.53.651.1 coming

HTC Evo 4G will be blessed with a new firmware upgrade version 4.53.651.1 via Sprint. The new software update brings some improvements and bug fixes including integrated voice recognition accuracy with voice search and voice-to-text, image size issue with contact transfer over Bluetooth, images cut off in Picasa, group contacts not in alphabetical order, and out of memory, unable to send SMS.

Telus BlackBerry Curve 9360 available

RIM BlackBerry Curve 9360 is already available for $49.99 on a 3-year contract from Telus in Canada. The BlackBerry 7-powered smartphone which is good enough for entry-level users come with a 2.4-inch display (non-touchscreen) with 480x360pixels resolution, 512MB RAM, 800MHz CPU, 5MP camera with LED flash.

In case the Curve series is not enough for you, the carrier is already offering the Telus Bold 9900 and Torch 9810. Telus Torch 9860 is also expected to be launched around the end of the month.

Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V with 3D

In addition to the announcement of Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread update for Xperia range, the company has also introduced Xperia neo V Android smartphone. Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V is one of the first new products to launch with the new software and will include all the features like Google Talk with Video Chat, 3D sweep panorama and enhanced Facebook inside Xperia functionality.

Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and boasts a 3.7-inch touchscreen (854x480) which is glasses-less 3D display, 5MP camera, 2MP front-facing camera, 1 GHz CPU, HDMI-out, and more.

Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread update for Xperia coming

Sony Ericsson has announced that their 2011 Xperia range will be upgraded to Android Gingerbread platform version 2.3.4 from October 2011. Consumers with 2011 Xperia smartphones will benefit from improvements to Sony Ericsson’s unique Facebook inside Xperia offering and 3D camera functionality from Sony. The Xperia firmware update also allows consumers to enjoy the full benefits of the Android Gingerbread platform including Google Talk with Video Chat.

Army & Maiden M2 Android game released

Cronus Crown in Japan has recently released "Army & Maiden M2" game for Android. This game is a sequel of "Army & Maiden" series. You might be already aware of Army & Maiden S2F previously released. As a reminder, S2F stands for Side Story 2 Free. Now, it is the "Main Story 2" version of the Android game.

"Army & Maiden" is a real time war simulation game in a fantasy world. You can clear a stage in about 1-5 minutes. The operations are simple. You drag the "Move Marker". Your units move to marker's places. Units automatically battle in a display. Units have differing abilities. And units have some skills. "Clear Time" and "Score" are recorded. You must aim at the high score.

Google Plus Android app updated

Google has released a new Android version of Google+. The new Google Plus Android app (v.1.0.6) now comes with reshare posts. Google+ Android app is now available in 38 languages. There are also incremental improvements to notification reliability, and clearer Instant Upload options in the initial setup dialog, ability to create a new circle from the "Circles" destination, bug fixes, other performance fixes and minor UI tweaks.

White HTC Evo 3D coming to RadioShack

White HTC EVO 3D will be available exclusively at RadioShack starting September 9th.
