Sprint's pre-paid subsidiary Boost Mobile and LG Mobile have recently announced the upcoming release of the LG Marquee. The mobile phone will be available Jan. 23 for $279.99 (excluding taxes) and is going to be paired with Boost Mobile's no-contract $55 Android Monthly Unlimited plan with Shrinkage, which includes unlimited nationwide talk, text messaging, Web, email and calls to 411. LG Marquee will be available in additional national retailers by the end of the February.

Those not familiar with the Sprint's LG Marquee phone should know that it runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform. The smartphone boasts a 4-inch clear and bright 700-nit NOVA touchscreen display, 5 megapixel rear-facing camera with 3x zoom and 720p video capability, 2MP front-facing camera, 1GHz processor, 4GB of internal storage, GPS, Stereo Bluetooth. There's easy access to Google services such as Gmail, Google Talk and Android Market.

Verizon has recently launched 4G LTE enabled Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Android tablet at CES 2012. The 7.7-inch version of the Galaxy Tab with support for Verizon's 4G LTE network is heading to Big Red's wireless network in the United States.

As you probably already know, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb platform along with Samsung's own TouchWiz UX user interface. The shiny tablet boasts a 7.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display with high-definition 720p (1280x800) resolution. It has a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, a 3MP rear-facing camera (with LED flash and full 720p recording and 1080p playback), a front-facing 2MP camera for video chatting.

Acer Iconia Tab A200 10.1-inch Android Tablet debuts. Computer maker Acer has recently announced the successor to the 7-inch Iconia A100, the new 10.1-inch Iconia Tab A200. Powered by Android OS, the Iconia Tab A200 from Acer will be available in 8 GB and 16 GB versions starting January 15, with the 8 GB edition starting at $329.00 and the 16 GB version costing $349.99. The company also said the Android 4.0 Cream Sandwich will be available for the Android powered tablet in mid-February.

The Iconia Tab A200 is a full-featured HD tablet. Owners will be able to use it as a portable activity hub for gaming, e-books, movies, music, photography, social networking and more. The new Acer Iconia Tab A200 tablet comes with the latest edition of Android Honeycomb 3.2 OS, with a free upgrade to Android 4.0 (known as Ice Cream Sandwich), which will be available in mid-February.
